I don’t think Lancaster Bomber is as huge an outsider as the betting would indicate. I’m sure he will be better on the good ground here and if he doesn’t go of at a silly pace wont be falling away as quickly as he did last time out. I’m going to have a tiny bet just in case.

2013 Grand National Auroras Encore 1st @ 100/1

I’m going for 2 more min bets on the national, in the hope that I can have a winner and not have to look at Alex Fergusson in the winners Enclosure.  I’ve been struggling to come up with anything but Auroras Encore might just be well handicapped on his very good 2^nd in the Scottish version last year. He has a good few poor runs on softer ground since but is down to a lower mark that that run and if he can get back to form in similar conditions 100/1 with 5 places looks great value.

I cant resist a tiny bet on Qualify I think she has improved in her last 2 runs and was eye-catching enough last time out in the Irish 1000. If she isn’t a pacemaker here it isn’t out of the question that she places at 100/1.

Ascot 3:45 Stepper Point 2nd @ 100/1

I really think this is between Sole Power and Shea Shea, but I think I’ve found a possible wrong priced horse in Stepper Point at 100/1. I’m not sure there is much between him and the likes of Steps who is a far shorter price. His close 4^thbehind Sole Power and Hot Streak in similar conditions reads really well and if we can put 2 poorer runs in France behind him a repeat of that form might have him in with a big chance to outrun those odds.
