It’s not often you get a 125/1 shot with a chance but Lancaster Bomber ran a superb race in the Dewhurst to finish 2nd, we advised EW at 125/1. I actually the 33/1 available about next year 2000 is value as he really finished his race well, and if the ground is good on that day i wont be ruling him out

I’ve already gone for the 25/1 about Highland Reel a few days ago and if anyone hasn’t got on yet there is 20/1 with 4 places in Sky & Fred, that looks great value EW to me as he is a consistent horse in a poor Arc. Ill stick with my win bet and won’t add any more here on him myself.

The main thing for me in this race is what will the French go on the AOB trio combined near the off as I think they all have very decent chances are and a hardened trio maybe compared to some of the more fancied runners he has had over the years.

For now I’m going to go with a bit of value down the betting in The Great Gatsby. I’m sure this will seem a mad bet but I think he looked very good on his second last run and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he showed a big improvement here after a very light season and on his kind of surface. 80/1 is just too big to ignore.

This is a tough race and in fairness Mecca’s Angel looks a long way ahead. We’d all be in the poorhouse taking that short a price in this kind of mad race and I’ve had a bit of success in the past in this going for a long priced French horse. Today I’m going for what looks an improving printer in Finsbury Square. He caught my eye a bit a goodwood and has a bit of course form around here. He seems overpriced at 66/1 and my gut feeling is he is an improving sprinter and will outrun those odds today.
