Snow Bay, this horse was very consistent at the beginning of last year of higher marks than he has tomorrow. He has never had much of a break before but did win 2 this time last year after an 88 day break. The stable is well capable of setting him up to be ready to fire tomorrow, and 16/1 with 5 places looks value. He has a high draw and that looks to be a small advantage. He could break out fast here and hopefully never get caught.

Light form Mars, I backed this the other day at 25/1 and although its now best price 16/1 I think there is still a small bit of value. Its more gut feeling than anything, but he ran a good race in this last year to finish 8th, and won his next start of a 2lbs higher mark than he carries tomorrow. I think its significant that they gave him an AW prep run this year, and looking at the race he did seem to have an easy enough race and still finished close enough. He did get worse as the year went on but that’s why he is in here now with a good mark.
